This game can be played several ways.
You can alternate between "Slop" (no rules, anything goes) and
"Nine Ball Rules" by clicking on the word "Slop!!" or "Nine Ball
Rules" in the upper right hand corner. When playing "Nine Ball
Rules" the object is to clear the table by pocketing pool balls
in numerical order. When making a shot, the first ball the cue
ball touches must be the lowest number ball on the table, or you
will be fouled. Also, a scratch counts as a foul.
You also can activate the "Move Cue on Scratch" option by clicking
on it (the text will turn blue). When activated, you have the
option to pick the cue ball up and move it around on the table
after a scratch to line up your next shot.
Whichever way you choose to play, your performance will be tracked
in the upper left hand window. The scoreboard will tell you how
many shots you have taken, how many balls have been sunk, and
how many scratches or fouls have been made.
To make a shot, move your cursor over the cue stick until it turns
into an open hand. Click and drag the cue stick to line up your
shot behind the cue ball. When your aim is perfect, click on the
cue ball and the shot is made. The further you cue stick is from
the cue ball, the more power your shot has.
