"I had always looked up to our family physician when I was growing up. I wanted to be a doctor, too, because I liked to help people. Although I am board-certified and family-practice trained, my education does not stop there. Medicine is an ever-changing discipline, and aside from continuing education in medicine, I have learned much from my patients. I have learned that medicine is an art as well as a science. The art of listening and communicating with people is very important. Treating people with respect and genuine concern is something I strive for every day. Learning is a never-ending process, and my patients are a very integral part of this process."
