Two databases: one is on trial protocols and the other on drugs. American Foundation for AIDS Research (AmFAR): Site of one of the nation's leading nonprofit organizations for HIV/AIDS research, education and advocacy. Features upcoming events, research, programs and grants. Critical Path AIDS Project: Founded by people with AIDS to provide services and treatment. Site features substantial amount of information on prevention and clinical trials, as well as a searchable index. HIV/AIDS Treatment Information Service: An archive that provides information about federally approved treatment guidelines for HIV/AIDS. Staffed by bilingual (English/Spanish) health information specialists who will research and answer questions. HIV InSite: A project of the University of California, San Francisco AIDS program at San Francisco General Hospital, and the UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies.
