Angelic presence, with the very essence of a rose. 

This soul portrait is the result of an hour session wth a beautiful young woman who came seeking some guidance and affirmation in her life. The morning before I did her portrait the energy and imagery flooded into my mind as I was in the shower! I drew the images on the steamed up glass, and very profoundly heard the message, “She must always remember she is sweet as a rose and share this with others, it is a gift.”  

I began this portrait before Janelle arrived, by painting the images I had received in the shower. I wasn’t really sure what Janelle actually looked like, as she had made her appointment by phone. When she came to the session, I realized I could have almost done the entire painting without her there! I’m glad I didn’t, as her energy is delightful.
